Electronic Signatures

Electronic Signature Disclosure

Information clients should review before signing proposal documents electronically through BLTHQ.

Last updated: June 27, 2026

Electronic records and signatures

BLTHQ lets invited clients review proposal PDFs and sign them electronically from a private portal link. Your electronic signature has the same intended effect as signing the proposal on paper.

Scope of consent

Your consent applies only to the proposal signature request shown in the portal. Other project records, notices, invoices, change orders, or future signature requests may require separate review or consent.

Paper copy and withdrawal

You may request a paper copy or ask to withdraw from electronic signing before completing a signature by contacting the contractor through the portal message area or the contact method used to send your portal link. Withdrawing consent may require the contractor to complete the proposal outside BLTHQ.

Access requirements

To sign electronically, you need an internet-connected device, a current web browser, access to your email or text messages for the portal link, and software or browser support to open, download, save, or print PDF files.

Audit record

When you sign, BLTHQ records the typed signer name and email, timestamp, IP address when available, browser user agent, consent version, document hashes, and the saved signed PDF so the signature event can be audited later.

Contract responsibility

BLTHQ provides the workflow used to upload, route, sign, and store proposal documents. Contractors remain responsible for the proposal contents, required license notices, cancellation language, lien notices, payment terms, and any state, local, or project-specific requirements that apply to their work.

Disclosure version
